ultrasonic rectangular cake cutting
ultrasonic cutting machine is designed to cut rectangular fresh or frozen cakes into rectangular portions from within the baking mould.
The cutting machine incorporates 2 cutting stations which run simultaneously. An operator manually loads the cakes longitudinally onto an infeed conveyor. The product moves forwards to the first ultrasonic cutting station. A stainless steel cutting head equipped with one ultrasonic blade cuts the product laterally.
The product then moves forward to the second ultrasonic cutting station. A stainless steel cutting head equipped with one ultrasonic blade then cuts the product longitudinally. The number of lateral and longitudinal cuts is adjustable.
As an option automatic trimming of the edges can be offered. A control parameter activates the automatic cleaning of the blades between each cake. After cutting the mould is discharged, to be manually unloaded by the operator.
