Project Description

Ultrasonic Spray for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell

Climate change and global warming make green energy and carbon reduction a top priority and hot topic. Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) are promising power sources for their future due to their high power density, high efficiency, reduced emissions of hazardous materials, high quality power, scalability and fast start-up.
Ultrasonic Spray for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell - Cheersonic
In recent years, ultrasonic spray technology has been used in fuel cell applications. Ultrasonic is used in catalyst synthesis for fuel cell applications, catalyst carrier treatment, catalyst layer fabrication, membrane electrode assembly (MEA) fabrication, and humidifiers. Among these applications, ultrasonic technology is mainly used in MEA manufacturing – it has proven that ultrasonic spraying is a useful method to reduce the platinum loading of fuel cells. Ultrasonic spray technology has great potential for the direct manufacture of methanol fuel cells and high temperature PEMFCs.
