Ultrasonic Drug Eluting Stent Spraying
The drug-eluting stent carries the drug through the polymer coated on the surface of the metal stent. When the stent is placed in the site of the vascular lesion, the drug is released from the polymer coating by controlled release of the drug to the vascular wall tissue through the elution mode to exert the biology effect.
Surface-coating techniques used in drug-eluting stent fabrication equipment and manufacturing processes have important implications for the efficacy of drug-eluting stents. Conventional coating preparation processes, such as weather deposition, magnetron sputtering, plasma deposition and the like generally require expensive equipment and are not conducive to mass production of the stent.
CHEERSONIC applied the principle of ultrasonic atomizing spraying to the coating preparation process of drug-eluting stent, developed a set of ultrasonic spraying equipment and improved the integration of a new drug release stent spraying equipment – ultrasonic medical spraying equipment.
Ultrasonic medical spraying equipment is the use of ultrasonic transducer ultrasonic waves generated through the atomization medium, the formation of surface tension wave at the gas-liquid interface, due to ultrasonic cavitation liquid molecules destructive force, the liquid surface prolapse to form droplets, the liquid be atomized. Ultrasonic medical spraying equipment improved atomization particles up to about 10 microns, the drug release stent surface can form a uniform and dense coating.
