The electrolyte-supported catalytic layer (CCM) that has received attention in recent years is a membrane electrode that directly prepares the catalytic layer on the surface of the electrolyte, which can increase the reactant/catalyst/electrolyte three-phase interface and improve the utilization rate of the electrocatalyst.
This article compares the advantages and disadvantages of the ultrasonic spraying method and the traditional spraying method for preparing the catalytic layer. The catalytic layer prepared by the knife coating method has fewer surface cracks and less surface roughness, and its MEA performance is better, and it is found that the surface morphology and surface of the catalytic layer Roughness has little effect on MEA performance.
