Batik Cake Cut
Batik Cake Cut – Sheet Cake Cutting Tools – Cheersonic
Kek Biskut Batik cake is a type of Malaysian no-bake fridge cake dessert inspired by the tiffin, brought in the country by the British during the colonial era, and adapted with Malaysian ingredients. This cake is made by mixing broken Marie biscuits combined with a chocolate sauce or runny custard made with egg, butter/margarine, condensed milk, Milo and chocolate powders. The cake is served during special occasions like the Eid al-Fitr and Christmas. It is also similar to hedgehog slice and the latest Prince William chocolate biscuit cake, although with some different ingredients. In Brunei, the Batik cake is covered by green colour topping.
Kek Batik cake is soft and sticks easily to the knife, making it difficult to cut well with general equipment. Ultrasonic technology is widely used to slice or cut food products which have a sticky, crumbly, delicate structure. Using the high frequency vibrations of the blade, we can drastically reduce the friction between the product and the blade, allowing for superior quality cuts, even when processing delicate, soft or crumbly products. Besides, the shape of the cut product will only be modified a little. Due to the high self-purifying capacity of the knives, almost no residual products adhere to the blade surface. With over 25 years of experience using Ultrasonics to cut food, Cheersonic have a wealth of expertise in not only providing a superb cut quality but also in ensuring that the handling of the product pre and post cutting to maximize yield and reduce waste.
