Ultrasonic spraying machine is an efficient coating application technology that can achieve uniform and dense coating. When applying a layer of fast-forming film on polyethylene (PE) film, the following measures can be taken to enhance adhesion and drying process:
Plasma treatment: Plasma treatment of PE film before coating can improve its surface energy and increase active functional groups, thereby improving the adhesion of the coating. Plasma treatment is a technology that uses high-energy electrons or rays to ionize gases and produce high-energy particles to bombard the surface of the material, which helps to remove pollutants and oxide layers on the PE surface and reveal a more active surface.
Temperature increase: Increasing the temperature to 60°C can accelerate the drying process of the coating and improve the adhesion between the coating and the PE film. The increase in temperature helps the solvent in the coating to evaporate quickly, allowing the coating particles to chemically or physically adsorb to the PE surface faster, forming a stronger coating.
Film thickness control: The thickness of the coating can be less than 5µm or thicker as needed, but it should be noted that too thick a coating may affect the transparency of the PE film. If the coating is kept thin, the impact on transparency can be minimized while maintaining the functionality of the coating.
When operating an ultrasonic sprayer, the following factors also need to be considered:
Coating selection: Select a coating suitable for PE film to ensure that the coating has good compatibility with the PE surface.
Spraying parameters: Adjust parameters such as spraying pressure, ultrasonic power, and spray gun distance to achieve the best coating effect.
Drying process: Control the drying environment (such as temperature, humidity) and drying time to ensure that the coating is completely dry and free of defects.
Through the above measures, it can be ensured that the rapid prototyping film coated on the PE film has excellent adhesion and drying performance to meet the needs of practical applications.
