Project Description

Ultrasonic Stent Spraying Machine

Our ultrasonic stent coating system can be used to spray antirestenotic drug-eluting polymer solutions onto implantable stents. We have expertise in spraying hundreds of different medical grade polymer chemicals. Ultrasonic nozzles have the advantage of spraying complex stent geometries, ensuring that all strut surfaces of the stent are covered. The gentle atomized spray can adhere well to the surface, and the morphological characteristics of the coating can be adjusted by modifying the process parameters. High-pressure nozzles cannot apply coatings as uniformly as ultrasonic coating systems. Compared to dip coating, the coating applied using ultrasound is thinner and saves spraying material. The ultrasonic nozzle is hardly clogged and the spray quality does not decrease with time.

Advantages of ultrasonic stent coating:

• Highly controlled and repeatable spray spray.
• Non-blocking ultrasound technology.
• Spray at a flow rate of microliters per hour.
• Drop size is as small as 9 microns (using organic solvents) and the droplet distribution is very tight.
• Low-speed spray adheres to the stand without bounce or overspray.
• Proven process for coating implantable stents and other delicate medical devices.
• Highly durable coating does not peel off.
• Experience with dozens of coatings running on hundreds of systems.

Types of stents coated with ultrasonic spray (metal or bioabsorbable material):
• Arterial stent
• Peripheral bracket
• Sinus Stent
• Bifurcation bracket
• Bare metal bracket
• Biodegradable stent
• Stent transplantation
