Balloon Catheter Coating System

The balloon catheter coating system is a fully enclosed, sealed device designed to spray common size and types of balloon catheters using ultrasonic nozzles in combination with precision air-forming systems. The spray diameter and droplet size are variable and depend on the nozzle and air forming system used. A special fixing device fixes both ends of the catheter, and the rotating motor rotates the catheter to cover the entire balloon surface at 360 °. The ultrasound nozzle traverses the catheter as needed to cover the required length.
The system includes controls for continuous digital metering of air flow, air pressure, and humidity and temperature.
