Ultrasonic Cutting Station Machine
Ultrasonic cutting machine is designed to cut rectangular fresh or frozen cakes into rectangular portions.
The cutting machine is made up of 2 cutting stations which run simultaneously. An operator manually loads the cake longitudinally onto the infeed conveyor. The product moves forwards to the first ultrasonic cutting station. A stainless steel cutting head equipped with 2 ultrasonic blades cuts the product into longitudinal sections. Once the longitudinal lines have been cut, the product moves forward to the second ultrasonic cutting station.
A stainless steel cutting head equipped with 1 ultrasonic blade cuts the product in a transversal direction. The number of the longitudinal and transversal cuts is adjustable. There is an option for the automatic trimming and ejection of the edges. A parameter setting exists to enable the automatic cleaning of the blades between each cake. After cutting the portions are discharged to be manually unloaded by the operator.
